What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology is the study of movement. Developed in the 1970s by Japanese chiropractor Kenso Kase, kinesiology tape was initially used in human sports medicine for injury prevention, treatment, and performance enhancement.

Following its success with humans, Vetkin® tape was devised for equine athletes and has since gained popularity.

Unlike conventional inelastic tape that restricts motion, kinesiology tape allows a full range of movement and enhances bodily functions through a gentle lifting effect on the skin.

Its application can affect the skin, nervous systems, fascia, muscles and joints, lymphatic system, and cardiovascular system.

When applied correctly, it reduces pain, stimulates circulation, improves lymphatic drainage, and supports muscles and joints.

Why Choose Vetkin® Tape?

Originating from human sports medicine, Vetkin® tape is specifically adapted for veterinary use, considering factors like animal coat and skin differences.

Manufactured by THYSOL Group BV, it aims to improve animal welfare, offering comfort and adhering well to the coat, much like a "second skin."
