ON-SITE VETERINARIAN

At Gilvarry, we offer a variety of services to meet the individual needs of your horse, and we are committed to working with you, your veterinarian, and our on-site professionals to develop a treatment plan that is right for your horse.

We encourage veterinarians to contact us to discuss how we can support and strengthen their rehabilitation management.
ENDOSCOPY

Equine endoscopy is an important diagnostic tool that can be used to identify a variety of respiratory disorders, including inflammation, infection, tumors, and foreign bodies. It can also be used to assess the severity of conditions such as allergies, asthma, and exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH).

Equine endoscopy is a safe and minimally invasive procedure that can be performed with sedation or general anesthesia.
PHYSIOTHERAPY

The goal of equine physiotherapy is to optimize the horse’s musculoskeletal system and improve its overall function and performance.
Equine physiotherapists use a variety of techniques to assess and treat horses. These techniques can include massage, joint mobilization, stretching, exercises, and electrical stimulation.

At Gilvarry, we have certified equine rehabilitation therapists and exercise physiologists on-site that will work hand-in-hand with your veterinarian.
RADIOLOGY

X-rays, also known as radiographs, are used to examine the anatomical structures of horses. This can be done for an array of reasons, such as determining the presence of a disease or verifying its soundness when buying.
Mobile X-ray services are available for equines that require imaging. We also offer complete evaluations of lameness to our equine customers.
