WHAT IS CRYOTHERAPY

HOW IT WORKS
Cryotherapy releases cold carbon dioxide gas at -108°F (-78°C) at high pressure. It will rapidly reduce the skin surface temperature of the injured area to 39°F (4°C) within 30 seconds.
This technique induces the cryotherapeutic effect, whereby blood flow to the injured area is quickly increased and healing proteins, collagen, and anti-oxidants are delivered. This allows the horse's body to repair the injury while simultaneously removing toxins and reducing inflammation.
